Viewing tips

Images
If there is an image available online for a particular item, an "image" link will appear after that item's description. Images may open in a new browser window. In some browsers this window will remain hidden behind the main window. We suggest resizing and rearranging your browser windows so that they do not overlap--you will then be able to view the text and images side by side.

Greek and Hebrew characters
Greek, Hebrew and other non Latin-1 fonts may not always display correctly on your screen. In part this depends on what fonts you have installed in your system. In other cases, different browsers do not handle characters consistently. For example, we have found that on Mac systems, Safari and Netscape are not displaying the Greek fonts correctly. Eventually we hope to encode our texts using Unicode, which will improve things.

For now, however, please view the PDF files (which are usually more accurate) or check with us to clarify any confusion in the descriptions.
